Welcome to Idaho Virtual Academy and Insight School of Idaho!
At Idaho Virtual Academy (IDVA) and Insight School of Idaho (ISID), we are committed to providing a supportive learning experience for every student. IDVA serves students in grades K–12. ISID, our state-approved alternative high school, serves qualifying students in grades 9–12. Since 2002, we’ve provided a high-quality education to students across Idaho. Our innovative use of technology and rigorous, interactive curriculum from K12 ensures that all IDVA and ISID students receive a learning experience that meets their unique needs.

- Insight School of Idaho, our state-approved alternative high school, is designed to help students stay on track for graduation.
- Credit recovery courses help students recover credits quickly.
- Our block system allows students to earn credits at an accelerated pace.
- Note: Students must meet state at-risk criteria to qualify for ISID.
Career and College Readiness
- Dual credit opportunities
- CTE Programs: Students can explore high-demand careers beginning in grade 8 and earn certifications starting in high school.
Socialization and Clubs
- Virtual Socialization: Students can connect with peers by playing virtual games and more in our online hang-out zone, which teachers monitor.
- In-Person Socialization: Students have opportunities to attend gatherings throughout the state.
